Danielle Ellis
My name is Danielle Ellis and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I live with my four children and partner, Jason, in the beautiful, picturesque village of Waddington near Clitheroe. I provide a flexible approach to childcare to suit the needs of parents and carers. Whether you need long term care, or to book me for a specific event, I can cater for your needs. I have and BA Hons Fine Art and a CACHE Level 3 in Children's care, Learning and Development. 
Additionally, I have Paediatric First Aid Certificate, Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering and have been CRB enhanced checked.
I work in partnership with parents. I encourage you to keep me up to date on your children whilst not in my care. I will work with you to ensure your child is settled and that you are happy with the care I provide. It is important that you and your child are relaxed and happy in my home and with the care I provide. Diet, exercise and rest are key features to leading a healthy lifestyle. We eat mainly organic, vegan food and try to have outdoor activities every day - whatever the weather! I try to encourage everyone to choose healthy options and to try new food. I provide quiet areas for those who need them to rest and relax. I am continually undertaking new training in child care to keep me an informed and diligent provider of care to children and young people. 
We aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible in our house, composting fresh food waste, recycling, re-using, using eco-cleaning products, buying items with less packaging and buying in bulk from the co-operative suppliers Lembas. Reusable nappies are welcome.
